Leon D. Roisman D.M.D.,  has been in practice for over 35 years.  Dr. Roisman attended the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine where in 1967 he earned his D.M.D. degree.  In 1967-1968 Dr. Roisman taught clinical radiology and was Director of clinical radiology with a title of Associate Professor at UCLA Dental School of Dentistry.  In 1972 Dr. Roisman started his practice in Pasadena, California.  Dr. Roisman relocated and expanded his practice in 1991 and is now known as Dental Plus+ Dental Group, a multi-specialty practice.  Four years later a new larger facility was opened which now offers all dental specialties including Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry  working with approximately 18 doctors and 50 support staff, 24 operatories plus 2 out-patient surgery suites.  Dr. Roisman’s professional appointments include: 1992-1994 Member of Quality Assurance Committee for Safeguard Dental Plan, 1995-1997 Member of Quality Assurance Committee for Pacific Union Dental Plan, 1998-2000 Member of Quality Assurance Committee for United Concordia Dental, 2004 Member of United Concordia National Dental Advisory Council.  Dr. Roisman’s Professional affiliations include: American Association of Dental Group Practice, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Association of Managed Care Providers, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  Dr. Roisman’s special interest included world travel, daily exercise, fine dining and spending time with his family.
